Only 3 records have been reported from this site, with the last record dating from 1965. The habitat is not ideally suited to Wall lizards, and no viable colony is thought to have been established. The animals are believed to have been released by a pet shop based in Slough, as surplus stock.

In 1964, a number of Wall lizards (spp unknown) were released onto East Burnham Common (now a part of Burnham Beeches NNR), near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. There are no known reports of these animals since that time. (Lever 1977)
