How it worksThe Surrey Reptile Survey 2008 is the ideal opportunity for you to help the animals, by letting SARG know where they live across the county. It's also a great excuse to get out into the countryside and to see parts of Surrey that you may not otherwise see. There is a simple 5-step process to getting involved:
1. | Choose a 1 Km2 OSGB grid anywhere of your choice in Surrey.
2. | Check out the area using our aerial photography tool, looking for likely areas that might support reptile life.
3. | Choose a suitable time, and weather to visit the site, and take a country walk around the areas that you have selected.
4. | Record all sighting of reptiles seen using a SARG reptile survey form.
5. | Report your sightings to the SARG Reptiles Officer. |
